blanket update

No pictures today, just an update on the Vanna White contest. I found out today that my freeform baby blanket (pictured in the last post) has advanced to the finals in the contest! I need to send it in for hands-on inspection and judging. I'm very excited!

Is this the knitting world's version of March Madness? What are the prizes?

Good luck! (And Go Heels!)

Nothing yet, and the website now says that winners will be announced in early May, rather than any specific date. Sigh.

Well, your blanket is absolutely fabulous. I can't believe how great it is. I wonder why I've never seen scrumble before last night. I've been scrumbling (scrambling)to find yarn scraps and favorite flowers and shapes to crochet together. I've put my "Make a quilted jacket from a sweatshirt" project aside for now. hee GOOD LUCK!! I'm rooting for you.

Thank you so much! Best of luck to you, too. I'm having trouble linking to your page, so I can't see your project.
Hope you have fun trying out the freeform. Be sure to look at www.knotjustknitting.com. It's absolutely amazing.
