freeform child sweater

I'm hoping to complete a little sweater for Emma for Christmas. The yarns have been sitting around, I chose them a while ago. Here are a few bits that I've started. So far, I haven't made a garment with the freeform style because it's just kind of intimidating. But a child's sweater seems like a good way to start. After I get a few more pieces done, I'll cut out a paper pattern to fit Emma, then start arranging the pieces.

Very good idea to start small. Oh sweet, your freeform fragments/scrumbles look like they'll go together well.

I found you through Ravelry. Love, love, LOVE your freeforms work! Amazing shapes and colors and yet you can still make them lay flat and be something! Especially impressed by the fingerless mit.

Thanks, knitica. I love doing the freeform pieces, but the update on this little sweater is that I've decided to postpone it! Too much stress for the holidays. Maybe in January...........

And I just saw that you're the one that did the great entrelac socks. Love those!!!
